Company Webcast makes it possible for companies that operate internationally, so far primarily Dutch ones, to realise meetings and product presentations world-wide. The specially developed software is also used to record the meetings digitally, in audio-visual form, to replace taking minutes. This digital material is documented and archived in a searchable manner. The expectation is that exports will increase in the coming years, particularly to Southern and Eastern Europe.
The customer’s requirement was to design new platforms. They wanted a flat, compact case for their media centres. The original supplier of their media centres was unable to meet this requirement, a gap that Batenburg Mechatronica was handily able to fill.
The extremely limited height of the casing was the biggest problem during the design phase. With the required materials, this is not normally possible. By rearranging the parts of the IPC, Batenburg Mechatronica ultimately succeeded in achieving what proved not to be feasible for the competition.
